UtahMovieBot-Iron Man 3 Trailer

After the Avenger's and the Dark Knight Rises, I never thought I would ever be excited for another movie ever again. The anticipation and excitement I had for those two movies, I thought would never be outdone. Thankfully, I was wrong. I've watched this trailer multiple times, and have started a countdown for May 3rd. I can't wait. Thank you super hero movies. Thank you for always giving me something to look forward to.

SportsBot-Why The Jazz Are Going To Have A Great Year.

This conclusion isn't based on anything than can be measured. It is based solely on these screenshots I grabbed after watching Jeremy Evans' amazing play from the other night for the hundredth time.

This is Alec Burks. Jeremy Evans has already dunked and is already on his way to run back down the court to break up the ensuing play. Alec Burks is not worried about defense right now. Alec Burks is too busy being more pumped about the previous play than he will be for the birth of his first child.

This is the rest of the team. This is a team that looks like they just won the NBA Finals. Nope. They are about to lose a pre-season game. They don't care. They just witnessed the greatest sequence of human athleticsm they will ever see.

One word describes these photos: Chemistry. This team is full of chemistry. We may not have the same amount of talent as the Lakers, Heat, and Thunder, but this team loves playing with each other. It's going to be a fun season.

SportsBot-Choosing a New Baseball Team, part 1

Growing up, baseball was my favorite sport to play, and the only two teams you could consistently watch on TV were the Colorado Rockies and the Atlanta Braves. I chose to watch the Braves, mostly because of my disdain for all sports teams Colorado. They became my favorite team and Chipper Jones became my favorite player and the reason I chose to play 3rd base.
Fast forward to two years ago, I had just got back from my LDS mission in South Africa, spending two years away from professional sports. Chipper Jones was one of the only familiar aspects about the Braves, and it was hard to follow. Fast forward to this year. Chipper Jones has retired, and my interest in the Braves and baseball in general has waned. This makes me sad. I love baseball. I want to care about baseball and watch it with the same interest that I have in basketball and football.
Anyway, this last weekend, my wife and I were hanging out with some friends and my buddy Ryker and I were watching some of the MLB playoffs. We got to talking and he mentioned he wanted to care about baseball. Hey! So do I! So we decided we are going to choose a team and dive in headfirst into baseball fandom. We are in the process of choosing and would welcome some feedback about who we should cheer for and why. Maybe something you say will influence us, maybe not. But I’m excited to start caring about baseball again. It’s America’s pastime after all.

SportsBot: Having Fun with Al Jefferson's Salary

Things you could do with Al Jefferson’s annual salary of $14 Million:

  • Buy a Private Island in Brazil
  • Buy 70,000 16GB iPhone 5’s
  • Buy 14 Million hot dogs
  • Have more than enough to buy this ridiculous, $23,000 bed. Something Al Jefferson actually did. (Marvin Williams is in the bed. Marvin Williams is 6’1”.)
